Roles & Responsibilities: • Manage the operational efficiency of VFX pipelines, focusing on support queues, automation, and resource management across multiple projects.• Work closely with Pipeline Supervisors and Heads of Departments (HODs) to streamline workflows and ensure timely project deliveries.• Oversee Jira support queues, prioritizing critical issues and coordinating resolutions with Pipeline Supervisors, PMOs, and HODs.• Optimize automation initiatives, collaborating with technical and show teams to enhance pipeline efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.• Allocate resources and crew based on show needs alongside PipeSupes, ensuring teams are well supported for ongoing and upcoming tasks.• Lead regular pipeline review meetings with Show Production to assess project traffic, set priorities, and resolve workflow or resource challenges.• Manage onboarding and training for new crew members, ensuring a smooth transition into active projects.• Provide weekend and out-of-hours support, ensuring global teams have continuous coverage for pipeline needs.• Oversee timesheet approvals, attendance tracking, and holiday requests, maintaining extended shift coverage and weekly triage support rotas.• Manage test release schedules, ensuring thorough testing for each show on a weekly basis.• Drive ongoing training and adoption of new tools, presenting updates to internal teams and production stakeholders for seamless integration.
