ABOUT NIRMALA NIRMALA NOTT VENKATARAMANI JAYARAMAN

Even the word \'impossible\'​ says \'I\'m possible\'​ - I love that phrase! And I live my life by this philosophy. I try to solve any problem, and I might surprise you with the solution! I love thinking out of the box. As a software engineer with many years of experience, I have learned that thinking outside the box is the only way to find many solutions, where a tough grind cannot. I have succeeded as a student and a professional because of this. I graduated from IIT Madras with a 4.0 GPA where I was the Gold medalist and Valedictorian. I have also used my passion for starting Prakruthe App Labs to share my love for good quality mobile applications with the world and work on SoufulMe, where we tried to use AI to help with relationship wellness. During the pandemic, I had to switch gears to become a homeschooling parent but soon found that the experience was intellectually and emotionally gratifying. Through that journey, I also evaluated SoulfulMe and my professional future. I discovered that the tools we had at our disposal were insufficient to push the thought process forward for SoulfulME. A good leader knows when to move a certain product to the back burner. A hard but necessary one for me and SoulfulME! As SoulfulME goes on a long low broil in the back stove, I have decided to challenge myself to become a data scientist, given my mathematical and computer engineering backgrounds and aptitude. I began this new phase of my journey by working on an MIT Micromaster\'s program in Statistics and Data Sciences. There were a lot of sleepless nights when the courses showed me the intensity that was expected of me. After 11 months of fun learning and some intense periods, all the same, I was able to complete the program recently. I have a keen and analytical mind with a lot of experience. I am a relentless juggler, a mom, an engineer, a leader, a self-published author of children\'s books, a customer success advocate, and a data scientist - juggling every hat as best as possible. I deeply believe in contributing to the community and have immeasurable trust in human beings.Through my educational and professional journey, I have learned that the one thing that is necessary for success is constant learning. I love to keep updating myself. As a human, I make many mistakes, and they help me strengthen my zeal to correct them and propel me to move forward. While I might not be perfect for the job I am in, I will bring to the table, my tireless effort, fast learning skills, great teamwork, good communication, and commitment to excellence!
