Review 50+ applications a year for students going to college looking for a scholarship to their tuition- Review the application with other board members yearly and tune the requirements based on feedback from students and gaps in process- Send out checks to UC and CSU colleges for previous year and new recipients of the scholarship- Check in with recipients yearly to confirm continued eligibility for receiving the scholarship as well as any help they need to succeed- Present growth projections for planning the number of students to sponsor each year- Facilitate dontations from a wide network of colleagues and friends in a bi-yearly newsletter and hosted dinner night- Talk to potential donators about the cause, where our goals and motivations lie as well as how they can help us reach our goals in ways that will benefit them
