   As the Coordinator for WFP’s nutrition & school feeding portfolio in Uttar Pradesh, I led multi-sectoral coordination and government partnerships to introduce and scale fortified staples across key food safety net programs, including ICDS (Supplementary Nutrition), PM POSHAN, and TPDS. I provided strategic, technical, and monitoring support to government counterparts to enhance the quality, nutritional value, and uptake of age-appropriate Take Home Ration (THR).I played a pivotal role in the development of quality THR products and systems, and supported in statewide scale-up. My leadership extended to the rollout and scale up of rice fortification initiatives, including capacity building for all major stakeholders.To strengthen community-level impact, I led efforts to enhance Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) interventions promoting improved nutrition practices. Representing WFP at the state level, I engaged with senior government stakeholders to scale successful pilots and contributed to policy analysis in nutrition and school feeding, identifying systemic gaps and proposing actionable solutions.My contributions included the development of MoUs, concept notes, ToRs/SoPs, procurement guidelines, monitoring tools, proposals, and data analysis frameworks to inform evidence-based decision-making and drive programmatic excellence.
