Nirala Kumar is a healthcare consultant with over 10.5 years of experience spanning public, private, and social sector consulting. He has held leadership positions with Big 4 consulting firms and international NGOs, bringing a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic advisory, and program management skills. He holds an Integrated Master’s in Biotechnology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Management (PGDM-HCM) from the Goa Institute of Management.His expertise covers health systems strengthening (HSS), digital health, health supply chains, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and nutrition. He has strong technical capabilities in policy design, development of knowledge papers, feasibility studies, market assessments, scenario mapping, and data-driven strategy development. Alongside this, Nirala has led business development efforts and is well-versed in diverse proposal development formats.Over the past decade, he has successfully delivered marquee projects for clients such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Gates Foundation, as well as central and state governments and global development partners including UNDP, UNICEF, WHO, USAID, The Global Fund, and several NGOs.Beyond consulting, Nirala serves on the Board of Studies (BoS) for healthcare courses at the Goa Institute of Management, contributing to academic and curriculum development.
