About Nique Pichette
CLINICAL RESEARCH NURSE/PSYCHIATRIC NURSE/PERCEPTION COACH: Nique has been a registered nurse for over 25 years and graduated in May, 2023 with her Doctorate in Nursing Practice. Nique developed the Cannabis Nurse Navigator in 2016 to assist patients navigating their healthcare choices using Cannabinoid therapeutics within the constraints of Western Medicine. Nique continues to confront the stigma and bias within the system as a psychiatric nurse while bridging the gap in knowledge and enhancing the patient-provider relationship. Nique is also working as a Research Nurse conducting human research studies with THC and CBD at the Olin Neuropsychiatry Research Center, and has developed a tool to seperate inappropriate and appropriate cannabis use. The CARVE Tool. As the current founder of Positively Processing Perception, Nique supports individuals, one-on-one, and groups by combining her education as a nurse, and with compassion and empathy as a trauma survivor. Positively Processing Perception uses a personal approach to trauma recovery by helping survivors learn how to change the way they interpret the \"triggers\" that bring the traumatic event back to the present state of consciousness. This program provides advocacy, support, and thought provoking personal transformation. It brings the authenticity of true healing from within. It also shows us all that there are only two things in this world that we have the power to change: 1)Ourselves 2)Our reaction and responses to others and the world around us.
