As a Director at Morgan Stanley, I collaborate closely with the application team on a Wealth Management project that involves over 300 DB2 database servers and Snowflake. To streamline the database management process, I leverage various tools, including shell scripting, Python, Jenkins, Autosys and Git. These tools enable me to automate and deploy database changes efficiently.Furthermore, I actively optimize the SQL queries, stored procedures and overall performance of the database by meticulously rewriting SQL queries. Additionally, I play a crucial role in transforming data to Snowflake for further processing and analysis.With over 11 years of experience in database administration, performance optimization, and automation, I have honed my expertise in working with diverse database features and platforms. These include HADR, DPF, Tivoli Storage Manager, Q replication, pureScale, Oracle, SQL Server, Azure and Snowflake.In addition to my technical skills, I hold certifications in Oracle Database 11g: Administration and Oracle Database 11g: SQL Fundamentals.
