WORK HISTORY
Staff Research Scientist @Acceleration Consortium
Toronto, ON, CA
I am currently building a highly modular self-driving laboratory focused on polymeric materials. My work centres on developing an automated flow reactor platform, integrated with size-exclusion chromatographic characterisation, to enable AI-assisted optimisation of polymer synthesis. I also design and fabricate frugal, cost-effective tools and platforms to support this vision. To date, we have developed a budget-friendly liquid dispenser, blade coater, and fraction collector. Our systems are highly customisable and purpose-built for chemistry applications. They have been successfully used with a range of materials, including organic solvents (e.g, THF, toluene, chloroform), caustic liquids (e.g, 98% sulphuric acid), and organic electrolytes (e.g, lithium perchlorate in acetonitrile). Please feel free to reach out if you\'d like to discuss self-driving labs for polymer research!
EDUCATION
