ABOUT NINO PORTUGAL
In 2019, I left Brazil to pursue my education in the U.S. on a tennis scholarship at Auburn University at Montgomery. After three years as a varsity athlete, I transferred to the University of Central Florida with an academic scholarship, for a better education and to grow my knowledge in business and later on to be part of the selective UCF\'s Professional Selling Program.Along the way, I’ve built resilience and versatility through diverse experiences. I have worked selling paint, car windshields, teaching tennis, being a dining student leader at the school\'s cafeteria and even leading a 260-member student organization (BRASA) as president. Each role strengthened my adaptability, problem-solving, and people skills.Today, I combine 5+ years of experience as a racquets professional. I thrive with skills in service, hospitality, leadership, and sales, where building relationships and creating memorable experiences matter most.I am currently working at Tampa Yacht & Country Club as the Assistant Junior Program Coordinator, supporting junior program operations and member experience in a top-tier private club environment. I graduated from The University of Central Florida with a degree in Marketing (Professional Selling track) and bring a background in racquets operations, hospitality, leadership, and sales.
