ABOUT MARIA QUINTANA
Maria Quintana is a mexican cinematographer, who works in LA and CDMX. She started her career in the film industry in Mexico as still photographer in mexican films, among these are: Qué Pena Tu Vida, Escuela Para Seductores and Sin Filtro. To further her career and passion for film and photography, Maria moved to Los Angeles to get her master\'s degree. She continues to work in the industry between Los Angeles and Mexico. In 2020 Maria got her O1-Visa as Director of Photography. She is member of Apertura DOP and ICFC, both of them Collectives of Female Cinematographers. Maria\'s work ranges from narrative to commercials, documentaries to music videos. Her thesis film \"Fenced\" has won numerous awards in addition to world wide screenings at LA Shorts, Aesthetica Film Festival, Oaxaca Film Fest, Bronzelens Film Festival and more. Last year she filmed her first mexican feature film STRAIGHT, and this year she is working in the prep of her second feature film. She has worked with Priyanka Chopra, Sofía Reyes, Pedro Capo, Eugenio Derbez, Alessandra Rosaldo, Elyfer Torres, Jesse & Joy, etc. More info:
