About Nina Mungcal
Hello! I am Nina Mungcal, a 3rd year accounting student at CSULB. I transferred to the Beach with my Associates in Business Administration 2.0 after only a year of college! Eager to gain experience and knowledge through meeting professionals and internships, my drive for success and professional development will only push me further forward. I am eager to build connections on a social and professional level! I’ve worked ever since I was 15 years old and am very grateful to have started so young. Going on four years in the restaurant industry has taught me numerous soft skills. As a social person, working as a server is amazing as I am actively talking and listening to people in order to ensure that they get the best customer service possible! The opportunities for connections built with customers are endless as well! Aside from academics and work experience, I am passionate about music, as I have played the violin for 11 years Not only has my music endeavors been something I’ve enjoyed, but I’ve held leadership roles throughout the year. As concert master (the lead musician in the orchestra/symphony), I’ve been put under pressure and prevailed beyond expectations. Additionally, I love going to the gym and lifting weights, as it is a healthy outlet. Prior to finding my love for the gym, I ran cross country (xc) for four years was the co-captain for two years while on varsity!
