I lead monthly Wellness Yoga events for students, faculty, and staff of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. I am inspired by the incredibly positive impact that yoga and mindfulness can have on the mental health of medical professionals, and bringing yoga to my community is one of my biggest passions. In the future, I hope to lead wellness events and retreats for veterinary clinics and veterinary professionals.I received my 200-hour training as a yoga instructor at Sacred Paths Yoga. Sacred Paths trains their students in the anatomy, spiritual traditions, creative sequencing, and mindful leadership of yoga. I now practice and teach in alignment with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Instructor.
