ABOUT NINA ROBERTO
I recently graduated with my B.F.A. In Art History from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where my senior thesis focused on Giorgio de Chirico’s Metaphysical paintings and their connection to early 20th-century Italian cultural and political ideologies. Now I am back home in Cincinnati pursuing a job in musuems and arts organizations. I’ve always been surrounded by the arts—both of my parents studied creative fields—and I originally came to SCAD for Interior Design. Over time, I realized I was more drawn to learning why art is made and what it reflects about the world around it. That shift led me to art history, where I’ve found a real interest in helping others connect with and think differently about visual culture. I see art as something deeply human—understanding it gives us a way to reflect on who we are.
