Assist team to achieve organizational mission of building brighter futures through ocean adventure education.Manage Marine Science and Adventure Sports summer camp for students ages 4-17 through staff and intern recruitment, curriculum development, implementation programs, and coordinating with constituents.Merge inquiry-based learning with innovative programming to guide students on their personal journeys of discovery through social and emotional growth. Develop lessons, implement NESS programs, and assist in maintaining program-related equipment. Programs include academic year classes and primarily for Pre-K-12 youth. Expand NESS visibility in environmental stewardship and community events including shoreline clean-ups. This includes organization and management of the Catch a Curl Youth Surf Competition and Beach Clean-Up, in which I organize volunteers and sponsors and work in collaboration with the NESS marketing team to ensure a successful event. Ensure strong culture of safety during all programs, including adventure sports on the water. Collect water quality data to monitor Long Island Sound ecosystem.
