Member of pre-opening team at both properties Manage the Front Office operation of 607 room union property and 703 room union property• Represent the hotel’s management in judgment and decision-making while typically in charge of hotel operations in the absence of the General Manager.• Responsible for the Front Office Management team, Front Desk Agents, PBX operators, Guest Relations, and Uniform Services• Resolve all guest complaints in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with established service recovery guidelines to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with all shifts and department heads.• Establish Key Performance Objectives and assess colleague performance, providing constructive feedback for quarterly and yearly reviews• Educate and train colleagues on brand standards and service behaviors. • Coordinate colleague and guest evacuation/notification in the event of an emergency• Tour public area and grounds to ensure the appearance will reflect highly on the hotel, brand, and company• Oversee preparation of daily financial reports • Maintain procedures for security of monies, guest security, and financial transactions• Monitor performance of colleague schedules and initiate disciplinary actions in accordance to company rules, policies, and the IWA• Participate in preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans. Monitor and control labor costs and develop plans to increase the occupancy and ADR through Front Office upsell programs.
