ABOUT NINA GILBERT
After completing a bachelor’s degree in journalism at the University of Massachusettes Amherst, I have successfully completed courses such as Journalism Law, Media Technology and Culture, Profile Writing, Narrative Journalism, Commentary and Op-Ed Writing, and Journalism Ethics. These courses have fueled my passion for pursuing a career in media and refined my writing and reporting skills. My skills have allowed me to serve as a research assistant in the journalism department, where I studied media distribution networks and their influence on the public’s relationship with the press. I am the primary Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist for Boston Evening Therapy Associates. I have also interned for The New York Times Summer Academy. I am currently looking for a job in media and copywriting.My professional and personal values involve bringing back to American culture genuinely independent journalism, which includes the dogged pursuit of truth. This mission is critical to our country, democracy, and way of life.
