Third seat: Mainstream CorporateSecond seat: Leveraged FinanceDuring my time in Leveraged Finance, I worked on refinancing and repricing transactions, additional facility notices, accession processes, and leveraged buyouts, both on the lender and the sponsor side, including a public to private bid process that was ultimately discontinued. I also had the chance to assist with an investment grade loan transaction. Reported transactions I assisted with include- Advising Ontario Teachers\' Pension Plan Board on the financing of its acquisition of Donte Group, a Spanish oral healthcare group, with the target valued at more than EUR 1 billion (Sponsor side)- Advising the finance parties on the financing for PAI Partners’ acquisition of a majority stake in Motel One, a leading economy design hotel chain in Europe (Lender side)- Advising the finance parties on the successful refinancing of the ADB Safegate senior and junior facilities undertaken by Carlyle, comprising a new multi-jurisdictional TLB issuance, revolving facility and bank guarantee facilities (Lender side).First seat: Energy & InfrastructureDuring my time in Energy & Infrastructure, I worked on acquisition finance, distressed project, greenfield project finance, inventory monetisation, non-contentious construction and procurement, and refinancing matters. Reported transactions I assisted with include- Advising the finance parties on the second financial restructuring of the 299MW Tees Renewable Energy Plant, the world’s largest new build pellet biomass power plant, and controlled through its operating company MGT Teesside Limited by Macquarie Group and Danish pension group PKA (Lender side).
