I am Group Engineering Manager in the Data Platform group working on Big Data challenges. My team is responsible for Azure HDInsight service on the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform.Our goal is to marry the incredible value of Apache Hadoop with the cloud value prop of Azure platform and make Big Data easy for our customers. We provide customers will fully managed Hadoop that is scalable and elastic, freeing them to focus on their business problems.I have 20+ years of experience working in various capacities on Systems Engineering challenges on Microsoft stack as well as Open Source technologies. I have built and managed high performance engineering teams.My professional interests are :1) High performance and scalable Storage and Data processing services2) Information retrieval and fuzzy querying3) Building, managing a team of talented individuals and guiding them to deliver on big challenges in this space.My team is talented group of engineers/architects with diverse experience.
