ABOUT NIMISHA SARA PHILIP
Nimisha Sara Philip is an impact investment strategist and legal advisor working at the intersection of law, ESG, and capital innovation across the UAE–India corridor. With over a decade of experience across Reliance Industries, the TASC Group, and Amarchand Mangaldas, she has built a career structuring cross-border impact deals, advising on sustainable M&A, and helping capital do more than just multiply—help it matter.A former General Counsel and M&A lead, she now works independently with family offices, funds, foundations, and startups to design creative, mission-aligned financing instruments—from milestone-based equity to gender lens vehicles and everything in between. She’s also a Venture Partner at Sutton Capital (New York), where she helps grow an ecosystem of capital allocators rethinking how we define value.Off the deal table, Nimisha is the founder of two social ventures—House of Audacious and The Spoken Wave Trust—and a firm believer that art, language, and law are all tools for systems change. She has held advisory roles with several foundations, served as Co-Chair of Legal & Advocacy at the Confederation of Indian Industry’s Women’s Network, and spoken (or performed) on stages as both a strategist and a spoken word artist. She holds a law degree from the London School of Economics and SOAS, and a literature degree from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University. At heart, she’s a creative strategist who believes the best ideas live at the intersection of rigour and imagination—and that change, like any good sentence, should be bold, well-structured, and impossible to ignore.
