Hello! I am a junior at University of Connecticut pursuing a degree in Allied Health Sciences. Currently an undergraduate, I plan to continue my education and graduate with a master’s degree in Nursing to become a Nurse Practitioner. Passionate about patient care and the healthcare field, I spend my summers working as an apprentice under a doctor at a private practice. Through this experience, I have gained knowledge from patient workups, including patient check-ins (blood pressure, weight, and heart rate), as well as medical billing, insurance processing, and phlebotomy.
