Project: Digital Banking Modernization & API PlatformModernized QA for online and mobile banking features—account onboarding/KYC, payments & transfers, statements,user profile/security, and servicing workflows. The platform exposes REST APIs backed by Oracle, integrated with third-party risk/compliance services. Focus on cross-browser reliability, API correctness, data integrity, and releasepredictability in a regulated banking environment. Led the adoption of BDD with Cucumber (Gherkin) defined readable feature files, reusable step definitions,hooks, and tags to align Product, BA, and Engineering on acceptance criteria. Designed a maintainable Selenium + Java framework using POM, utilities/helpers, and TestNG suites for smoke,sanity, and full regression; stabilized locators with robust XPath/CSS strategies. Implemented end-to-end UI regression with parallel execution and test data seeding; integrated with Jenkinspipelines (Maven goals, artifacts, trend charts) for scheduled and on-commit runs. Built comprehensive API automation using Karate and REST Assured status codes, headers, schema validation,payload assertions, negative paths, and response-time guards; aligned with OpenAPI/Swagger contracts. Established SQL-backed validation against Oracle (joins, aggregations, referential checks) to verify ledgerentries, transactions, and user state across services. Produced actionable reporting via Extent Reports (attach screenshots, environment metadata, failurecategorization) and published them from Jenkins for stakeholders. Enforced Git/GitHub best practices branching strategy, PR reviews, and code quality gates; manageddependencies with Maven and parameterized runs per environment. Drove defect lifecycle in Jira root-cause analysis, priority/severity triage, reproducible steps, and traceabilityfrom story → tests → results.
