   Programme Makara Jan 2025 - Field Survey Conducted extensive field-based gharial surveys using boats, kayaks, and on-foot transects across the Chambal, Sharda, Gandak, and Parbati rivers.Carried out complementary water quality assessments and fishery/by-catch interviews to evaluate anthropogenic impacts on gharial habitats.Observations also included muggers, Ganges river dolphins (using hydromorph acoustic device), and other aquatic fauna.Camera Trap Survey – Fishing Cat, West Champaran, BiharExecuted camera trap surveys including equipment installation, retrieval, and systematic data documentation for population monitoring.School Education and Outreach ProgramEngaged students in interactive sessions on river ecology, biodiversity, and conservation awareness.Reached over students across schools in the Chambal region, Rajasthan.Data Management and AnalysisManaged, cleaned, and analyzed field data for ecological insights.Created spatial maps using qgis.
