Serve as an escalation point for SOC L1 analysts by validating, analyzing, and responding to advanced security incidents.• Conduct in-depth investigations using SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and cloud security logs to identify threats and mitigate risks.• Perform proactive threat hunting to detect Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and adversary TTPs aligned with the MITRE ATT & CK and NIST-CS Framework • Fine-tune SIEM correlation rules, develop new detection use cases/playbooks, and optimize alert logic to enhance accuracy and reduce false positives.• Manage and monitor security solutions including EDR, DLP, firewalls, proxy, email gateways, and vulnerability management tools.• Collaborate with IT and application teams to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities and enforce effective patch management.• Prepare incident reports, root cause analysis documentation, and weekly/monthly SOC dashboards for management and audit purposes.• Mentor and guide SOC L1 analysts in triage, investigation workflows, and escalation procedures.
