To track deliveries of ordered items including raw material availability, fabrication/machining status and inspection status including status review of statutory inspections. To coordinate with supplier for inspections during various manufacturing stages and to ensure supplier compliance with the approved QC procedures and timely closure of Inspectors observations/non-conformances. To Collect and collate weekly / monthly progress reports of Supplier / Sub vendor and to follow up for timely completion as per the milestones. Desk Expediting (Document expediting as well as material expediting)6. To monitor the progress on regular basis by conducting meeting, field visit, email/telephone communication and VC etc. 7 Issues requests for quotations, analyzes and evaluates quotes, negotiates price and terms, and exercises independent judgment to select suppliers based on lowest total cost of ownership.8. Final inspection of items e.g. Casting, Forgings, Gears,Hydraulic Cylinder,Pressure Vessels, Structural items etc,Raise NCR If deviation observed9. Perform audits at supplier places personally or remotely,Developing alternative suppliers through benchmarking and cost reduction.10. Review documents receiving in Info Bay system including Suppliers MRB for various Drilling items11. Assist in timely resolution of any issue affecting delivery of item / equipment and escalate areas of concern. To coordinate with Vendor,Logistics and team for packing and delivery. To coordinate with vendor for timely issue of invoice, SBLC etc. and coordinate for timely payment to the supplier.14. To prepare and issue MoM and MIS based on the desired schedule / frequency.15.
