Handling import and export procurement (free hand & nomination business) for FCL, LCL, and air freight shipments under CIF, FOB, EXW, DDU, DAP, and DDP Incoterms. Procuring competitive freight rates from shipping lines, co-loaders, overseas agents, IATA agents, and NVOCCs. Coordinating with clients and overseas network offices for business development and ensuring timely quote submissions within the defined Turnaround Time (TAT). Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients, shipping lines, co-loaders, IATA agents, and overseas sales contacts to ensure prompt and effective communication across platforms. Meeting with carriers, IATA agents, CHAs, and NVOCCs at their offices to strengthen partnerships and explore new business opportunities. Attending visiting representatives from carriers, IATA agents, CHAs, and NVOCCs at the office to maintain rapport and discuss mutual growth strategies. Conducting freight negotiations via email, WhatsApp, and phone with stakeholders based on current market trends and client rate expectations. Managing rate filing for ongoing shipments and maintaining monthly sector-wise rates with shipping lines, co-loaders, and NVOCCs. Coordinating and requesting free days from shipping lines, overseas agents, and NVOCCs as per cargo movement plans. Maintaining the Daily Pricing Tracker and preparing weekly/monthly P&L reports for management review. Managing and regularly updating the PAN India contact matrix of shipping lines, NVOCCs, co-loaders, IATA agents, CHAs, and transporters.
