Working as a TAC (Technical Assistance Center) Engineer for Celestica, I provide Level 2/3 technical support for enterprise networking products, including SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud). I focus on rapid issue resolution and delivering a seamless customer experience. My role combines deep technical knowledge with effective client communication to ensure high-quality support in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware/software issues on open networking platforms, especially those running SONiC on Broadcom ASICs • Analyze and debug issues related to SONiC’s architecture, including FRR (Free Range Routing), RedisDB, SWSS, and other SONiC services • Perform root cause analysis using logs, CLI tools, telemetry data, and packet captures (e.g, using tcpdump, debug dump, syslog, etc.) • Work closely with engineering teams and upstream open-source communities for bug tracking and escalations • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and RCA reports • Ensure SLA adherence and maintain transparent and proactive client communication
