Hello, I am Nilanjan Mahata. I have pursued my B.Sc.(Hons.) and M.Sc. in Physics from Midnapore College (Vidyasagar University) with research exposure in nanomaterials, heterostructures, and 2D materials.I am joining the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, to pursue my M.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering with a specialization in Extractive Metallurgy.My academic projects include: • M.Sc. Project: Reduced graphene oxide-CdS nanocomposite (under Dr. Tanusri Pal Ghosh). • B.Sc. Project: Helmholtz coil and e/m ratio (under Dr. Abhijit Bera).I have qualified GATE 2025 in Physics and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
