About Nilang Shah
As a Principal Engineer at American Express, I have lead multiple complex large scale enterprise top 50 projects inside payment network. Advance distributed systems and the fintech domain are my primary areas of expertise. As a lead, my responsibilities were spanning across end to end delivery of software lifecycle involving envisioning, planning, design, development, deployment, migrations and post production oversight. I was also directly responsible for OKR (Object & Key results) mapped towards maintaining 5 9\'s availability or these payment processing platform which is capable of doing payment transactions/seconds and settlement of 80 million transaction/day generating partner reports moving 1.5T+ USD across the globe.
