Design, develop, and optimize 2D/3D mechanical and piping systems using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and SolidWorks. Prepare engineering drawings including general arrangement, assembly, fabrication, isometric, and material take-offs (MTOs) with accuracy for fabrication and installation. Conduct Finite Element Analysis, RCA to validate designs, enhance performance, and ensure safety compliance. Ensure all designs meet ASME, API, ISO, and company-specific standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and vendors to integrate designs and support seamless project execution. Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting. Review vendor drawings, verify specifications, prepare cost estimates, and maintain complete project documentation including as-built drawings. Drive continuous improvement by identifying design optimizations, improving operational efficiency, safety, and project quality. Mentor junior engineers / draftsman and ensure teams follow best practices and meet project timelines.
