About Nikolet Karroca
PA-C dedicated to bridging the gap between accessible, quality healthcare and the underserved in the Detroit Metropolitan area. My experience as a medical assistant to jail system populations was centered around directly handling unbiased injections, vital signs, and blood draws in coordination with the lead psychiatrist in house. Focused on providing advocacy and empowerment for populations without a voice in our society. My position as the founder and president of the Pre- Physician Assistant Association at the University of Michigan-Dearborn offered a variety of leadership scenarios. I was able to lead a board of undergraduate students with like interests and conduct various events to both bring awareness to the profession and to empower those who may have felt isolated in their Pre-PA experiences.
