Serves as full line supervisor; Organizes, plans, and evaluates the operations of the Correctional Counselors in the Clinical Services department. Directs the operation and delivery of counseling and casework services systematically providing casework control and assignment of a counselor to every individual in custody in the institution. Reviews all reports and procedures to ensure compliance with operational and program directives. Monitors the preparation of transfer reports, case reports, supplemental program consideration reports, reclassification reports and ensures cumulative counseling summaries are developed to best address the individual in custody\'s needs while incarcerated. Writes and implements Clinical Services policies and formulates policy adjustments for the Department\'s directives. Establishes annual goals and objectives. Ensures the safety and security of the institution as related to the performance of assigned duties and knowledge of information which may affect operation and security of the institution.
