ABOUT NIKOLAY BOSHNAKOV

I am a student of Law at the University of Vienna, Austria. My personal interests are focused on public international law, environmental law, sustainable development, youth policy and youth empowerment. I have participated in several youth and environmental projects and programmes. I am a young individual in search of professional development having a strong commitment to society and potential to inspire positive changes in young people’s attitude. Since 2019 I became involved in the team of ManEco Foundation where I support the ideas, visions and initiatives towards responsible human behaviour for a greener future. I have been a volunteer in various initiatives oriented towards youth inclusion and proactiveness inspiration. I have been awarded several prizes for my achievements, e.g. first place in Youth Debate Competition “Living, learning, working and moving in Smart Cities of the future: with or without plastics and petrochemicals“ (organized by the European Petrochemical Association and Plastics Europe, National Competition Round, Sofia, 2018); first prize in Youth Session Competition of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, “Social and Economic Sciences” Section (paper topic: “Regional Disparities in Contemporary Bulgaria: Economic, Social, and Demographic Challenges”, 2018); special prize winner of Youth Essay Competition on the topic “Europe and the Judicial Power” (Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Bulgaria, 2017).
