Lead Software Engineer with 16+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production systems at scale. I have owned and delivered platforms used across media, higher education, healthcare, and enterprise environments, with responsibility spanning architecture, implementation, deployment, and long-term operation.In recent roles, I led the modernization of legacy systems into cloud-native platforms, supporting multiple high-traffic publications and internal business systems. I established shared CI/CD workflows across teams, reducing onboarding time from approximately one week to one day, shortening release cycles from weeks to days, and improving operational reliability for systems with strict availability requirements.My background includes applied machine learning and image analysis for medical devices, where I worked on signal and image processing pipelines in C++ and C# for diagnostic and research use. That experience now informs my current work on applied AI systems, where I design and operate Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions using both local and cloud-based deployments.
