ABOUT NIKOLAOS TSAKIRIS
As a Mechanical Engineering student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a concentration in Product Innovation and Entrepreneurship, I have gained valuable experience in design, manufacturing, and entrepreneurship. From conducting market research and developing product requirements as a Systems Engineering Intern at Shell TechWorks, to leading the development and manufacturing of an AI-augmented camera system for live sports broadcasting as a Co-Founder and CTO of Orasis, I have honed my skills in project management, product development, and leadership. In addition, my involvement with the MIT Solar Electric Vehicle Team and as a Mechanical Engineering Research Intern at the Emvolon startup and the Plasma Science & Fusion Center has given me experience in research methodology, teamwork, and hands-on work in fabrication and reactor testing. With proficiency in Fusion 360, SolidWorks, coding languages such as C/C++, Python, and MATLAB, and leadership positions in various clubs and organizations, I am committed to using my skills and experience to drive innovation and growth in the mechanical engineering industry.
