ABOUT NIKOLAI JENSON

For the past 25 years, I dedicated my life to hockey, a journey that shaped my discipline, resilience, and leadership. As I close out my career as Assistant Captain of the UNH Men’s Hockey Team, I am excited to dedicate that same drive and focus to my professional career in business.I recently completed my MBA with a concentration in Finance at the University of New Hampshire, following a dual major in Finance and Marketing during undergrad. My time at UNH was transformative both personally and academically, teaching me how to balance high-level athletics with rigorous academics, develop strong time management skills, and grow into a leader on and off the ice.Beyond academics and athletics, I’ve built practical experience through projects and internships:SheAscends (Marketing & Finance Intern): Supported social media campaigns, managed financial records in QuickBooks, and researched grant opportunities to strengthen the organization’s growth.Schiller\'s House Barbershop (Freelance Consultant): Delivered SEO recommendations, identified payroll discrepancies, advised on bookkeeping practices, and developed business expansion strategies.Outside of work, I’m passionate about fitness, reading, spending time with family and friends, walking our dog, fishing, hiking, reselling items, and sports.As I transition from athletics to business, my goal is simple: to bring the same commitment, leadership, and attention to detail that I’ve carried throughout my hockey career into every opportunity — leaving organizations better than I found them.
