Network Support Technician i Systems Administrator @Marine Corps Community Services

Performs a variety of technical end-user support such as troubleshooting of network hardware and direct support of NCR Point of Sale (POS) equipment to ensure an uninterrupted system functionality in a large enterprise retail environment. Network Support: Solves network related problems, performs implementation, configuration, and maintenance of various network components within the enterprise IT infrastructure. Conducts network-related repairs, and upgrades. Performs new hardware installation/set-up, and troubleshooting. Participates in network infrastructure improvement projects. Installs network software and hardware to ensure the system is functional and meets the end user’s performance requirements. Systems Administration: Administers user accounts with Active Directory, SCCM, Intune, Azure AD, on-prem/O365, Adobe. Performs first-echelon assistance to end-users requiring assistance in resolving technical issues through remote and on-site troubleshooting. Installs 3rd party software for printers, scanners, point of sale (POS) terminals. Performs necessary system and application software upgrades. Security Administration: Implements and administers security measures to safeguard systems and data to safeguard information and personal data against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure Provides valuable support in mitigating security events as they arise, collaborates closely with security team. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigates and troubleshoots complex system issues and outages, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools. Provides timely resolution or escalation to ensure minimal impact to business operations. Documents troubleshooting procedures and maintains a knowledge base. End User Training: Provides training to the end-users on various information technology resources by disseminating vital best practices, and security information to help maintain the safety and security of data.
