ABOUT NIKO CARON
Since childhood I\'ve always had a passion for electronics. Taking computers apart was my hobby which led me to programming after enrolling in computer engineering at the University of Ottawa. That\'s also when I realized that traditional education was not for me. I learn faster and more efficiently on my own. After leaving the program, I focused more on my own education, taking online courses such as calculus, physics, linear algebra, etc. I have completed Udacity\'s Front End Web Developer Nanodegree where I built 5 portfolio worthy projects. I also completed Launch School\'s frontend portion of their curriculum, a very rigorous program focusing on vanilla technologies which has given me the ability to pick up frameworks and learn them rather quickly. In order to advance to the next course I needed to prove my mastery of the skills learned in the form of tests, take-home projects and Skype interviews. It is an amazing program focusing more on vanilla but also have some frameworks involved (but not before learning how to do it vanilla!).
