ABOUT NIKLAS NYMAN
My life has been quite a ride. I grew up in a pretty inconspicuous town in Sweden, not far from Stockholm. My middle-of-the-road upbringing triggered an itch for bigger adventures, so after finishing my business degree in Sweden and Singapore I moved abroad at the age of 24. Since then, I\'ve been lucky to have had a corporate career that has taken me around the world, giving me the opportunity to experience, embrace, and adopt different cultures, values, and ways of thinking and living. I\'ve worked with small firms and large multinationals in different sectors, with vastly different work cultures and people priorities, My broad HR / Talent background has allowed me to be an influencer for people centric teams and organisations, improving workplace health and wellbeing. The ride continues. I\'m currently on a journey to re-invent myself by pivoting out of the corporate world. Through my career, I\'ve learned first-hand the challenges of maintaining physical and mental wellbeing amidst success. This experience has led me to start Pliabl, a business focused on recovery and physical readiness for the ambitious human. With decades of insight into the physical and psychological stress of high-flying success, I now work with c-suite, executives, and ambitious individuals to enhance their physical readiness and recovery, priming them for longevity and success. Why am I doing this? It\'s all driven by my own journey and a longstanding passion for workplace health and wellbeing. With AI-driven transformations accelerating, there\'s increased pressure on individuals to succeed and adapt to remain successful and relevant, with increased negative impact on physical and mental wellbeing as a result. I\'m excited to help leaders and ambitious individuals boosting their physical and mental readiness, and coach the modern business leader towards reinventing their people priorities and create a workplace ready to welcome Human 2.0.On a personal note - I\'m a strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit. My north star is set on longevity and sustainability. I get energised by meeting people from diverse backgrounds, exchanging stories and experiences. I always approach people and situations with curiosity. Nice and open-minded people are always treated with respect for whom I will go above and beyond to help. Pushy, narrow-minded people end up in my “naughty corner”.Beyond work I can be found on my road bike, playing racquet sports, getting muddy at an obstacle course races, hiking, travelling, building flatpack furniture, or getting ready for my next adventure.
