During years of performing professional theatre and improv in Chicago, she also performed her one-person show \"Something From Nothing,\" later writing and performing her 2nd one-person show:\"Shakespeare Gets His M.F.A\"-a comic tour for the audience through the joy and pain of her two years of M.F.A. grad school auditions. She also wrote and directed the plays \"Caged Love\" and \"In the Family Way\"-both produced in LA. Along with her husband and fellow actor Nathan Inzerillo, she co-wrote, co-directed, and starred in the short comedy film \"Lynette and Belinda.\" They also collaborate, through their production company Vast Improvement Productions, on the hosting, producing, and writing for their podcast Theatre Couch, which dives deep every episode into a new play/playwright. She holds a BA in both theatre and history from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, meaning she also holds a BA in staying warm. AUTHOR TESTIMONIALS ON NIKKI\'S AUDIOBOOK NARRATION:\"Nikki Jacobs was a pleasure to work with on my recent addition to the Audible library for Tricky Wisdom and Tricky Chances. She asked insightful questions about the characters and story before she began recording and then captured my main protagonist exactly as I had imagined when writing her.\"~Camryn Eyde, Author of Tricky Wisdom and Tricky Chances.“Nikki Jacobs gave a brilliant performance bringing my characters to life along with all of their eccentric personalities! Her voice is just delightful and perfectly snarky for my books!\"~Tara Sivec, Author of The Simple Life.
