ABOUT NIKKI HATAMIAN

As a dedicated and detail-oriented project manager and researcher with a B.S. in Computational Cognitive Science from UC Irvine, I specialize in the intersection of neuroscience and project management. My career has been driven by a passion for understanding human cognition, and translating research into impactful outcomes.Currently, I serve as the Project Manager for the UC Irvine School of Medicine\'s Department of Neurology, where I assist faculty in launching innovative research projects related to many different subspecialties of neurology, navigate IRB protocols, and manage grant and award funding. My experience as an Assistant Research Specialist in the Chrastil Spatial Neuroscience Lab has equipped me with hands-on expertise in conducting cutting-edge research utilizing virtual reality and fMRI techniques, as well as managing collaborative projects that explore spatial memory and navigation.Throughout my career, I have developed strong competencies in protocol development, neuroimaging, neuropsychological assessment, and behavioral research. I thrive in team-oriented environments, fostering effective working relationships to streamline processes and achieve project goals. I am committed to advancing research in the neurosciences and am always eager to connect with like-minded professionals in the field.
