Responsible for leading the efficient, honest, fair and profitable procurement of headwear and apparel from factory partners within our global supply chain.• Work across all business functions to ensure on-time delivery to meet our customers’ needs, sales goals and profitability targets.• Manage and develop a team of buyer/planners to achieve company goals and objectives.• Develop, implement, maintain and control all processes and systems that support the input of purchase orders and associated receipts, and the timely and accurate payment of invoices to factory partners.• Ensure best practices are understood and utilized across all procurement functions through the development and maintenance of SOP’s and training manuals.• Negotiate price, production timelines and capacity allocations from our global network of suppliers.• Work alongside corporate social compliance and vendor compliance teams to evaluate supplier performance and adherence to company standards.• Work with logistics team to ship and track all orders from vendor to warehouse/destination.• Proactively identify potential supply chain disruptions and work with vendors to mitigate any negative impact on our customers.• Plan and evaluate the performance of assigned staff; establish performance measures and personal development goals, monitor performance and provide coaching to staff for improvement and development.
