About Nikki Keating
My name is Nikki Keating, and I originally hail from Washington, D.C. I recently graduated from Oberlin in 2025 with a bachelor\'s degree in Africana Studies (magna cum laude) and Psychology. While in school, I was Editor-in-Chief of two publications (The Oberlin Review and BIPOC Lenses) and taught ExCo journalism classes (among other things). Since May 2025, I have lived in New York City with my sister, editing college applications for prospective students with Empowerly, while also working at the People\'s Forum as an intern. In January 2026, I will travel to Mahlindi, Kenya, as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant, where I will remain until October 2026. I love reading, singing, and taking care of my two cats.
