Not long after joining Landmark Properties in 2020 as the Resident Services Manager at The Retreat Starkville, I knew this was a company where I could advance and grow my career as the job opportunities were endless. When the property sold late 2021, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to join the Corporate People & Culture Team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist and remain part of the LMP family. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, my primary responsibilities are to help Hiring Managers staff vacancies.

I am a dedicated Student Housing Professional with 7 years\' of experience in the Starkville, MS market.I started my career as a part-time Leasing Agent in 2006 and through many years of hard-work, determination, and perseverance, I reached my goal of becoming a Community Manager. I\'ve always enjoyed supporting properties to create a sense of community for our residents and a team atmosphere within the office.My property sold late 2021, and I knew I wanted to stay on with Landmark Properties. By way of referral, the Talent Acquisition team approached me to see if I\'d be interested in a career opportunity that would allow me to remain closer to home. Landmark no longer owned or managed any assets in that market, so it was a no-brainer.After discussing this opportunity with family & friends, I knew I was making the right decision to return to the Nation\'s Top Developer of Student Housing,#1 General Contractor, and a top 10 Owner & Manager.My new career path allows me to connect talent with careers opportunities and provide support to hiring managers to ensure the best candidate joins their team.
