ABOUT NIKITHA KOTTESWARAN

As a multidisciplinary professional, I bring together expertise in law, finance, and corporate governance to solve complex problems and drive innovative solutions. My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Commerce, providing a strong business and financial foundation. I then earned a law degree and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Criminal Law, further sharpening my analytical and advocacy skills. Alongside this, I am in the final year of my MBA in Finance and am actively pursuing both Chartered Accountancy (CA) and Company Secretaryship (CS) qualifications, reflecting my commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.My exposure spans key legal areas such as intellectual property rights, dispute resolution, legal research and drafting, human rights law, cyber law, and women’s law. Through my company secretaryship training, I have also developed a solid grounding in corporate law and compliances, giving me a nuanced understanding of regulatory frameworks and governance.Legal Horizons:I am deeply interested in emerging and specialized legal fields including International law,IPR, real estate law, fashion law, environmental law, maritime and aviation law, sports law, Technology,media and entertainment law, competition law, criminal law and forensic science, labour law, and the intersection of AI and law.Financial Acumen:My CA journey has inspired a keen interest in income taxation, GST, accounting, auditing, and corporate finance—core pillars that support strategic decision-making and organizational growth.Corporate Governance:Through CS, I am eager to explore private equity, capital markets, corporate governance, restructuring, insurance and banking law, insolvency and bankruptcy, foreign collaboration, joint ventures, AI law and due diligence.What sets me apart is my ability to synthesize knowledge from law, commerce, and finance, and apply it to real-world challenges.
