Sectors handled : Retail, trading, real estate, contracting companiesKey responsibilities:• Engagement planning based on understanding of the entity and assessment of business and related audit risks • Understanding and documenting the business processes and control environment and preparing the management letter.• Designing and performing substantive tests generated for each of the significant accounts at the planning phase and tailoring the audit approach in response to any further risks identified.Allocation of team members for each engagement and continuous monitoring of their work.• Supervision, review and finalization of assurance and tax engagement along with close liaison with the client’s management and reporting directly to the Engagement Partner;• Acting as team leader at various engagements.• Handling daily on the job issues and proper coordination of various team members.• Ensure compliance of the Audit methodology for the task performed and recommend non-compliance noted to the audit teams.• Managing multiple clients simultaneously.• Preparing/assisting clients in the preparation and consolidation of financial statements in accordance with the applicable reporting frameworks including compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).• Computation and filing of tax return as per Qatar law.
