Project #4 An educational system that provides learning management capabilities as well as an automated way to grade coding assignments- Coordinated work of the whole project team to ensure successful delivery- Introduced a complete system re-design from top to bottom: new UI built with Ant.Design React UI Kit with many UX improvements, Hypermedia REST API, interaction between backend services, new ER-model- Reinstantiated backend codebase moving it to a multi-module application without circular dependencies- Designed and incorporated Hypermedia-driven RESTful API leveraging Spring HATEOAS that allowed encapsulation of all business logic in the backend application- Incorporated Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) protocol support to allow 3rd party learning management systems embedding the tool as an external service provider- Implemented integration with the corporate Keycloak and Kafka solutions to enable OpenID Connect authentication flow as well as PII data obfuscation mechanism to comply with the corporate GDPR policy- Adapted GitHub and GitLab public API to support seamless integration between the application and remote repositories- Rebuilt the application delivery pipeline using Gitlab CI/CD- Established test automation on different layers of the system.
