About Nikita Jaiswal
As a Database Engineer, I have been responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining various database systems, including MySQL, Cassandra, and YugabyteDB. I have also worked with No-SQL databases, CQL/SQL, Group Replication, M-S, M-M Replication, HAProxy, phpMyAdmin, Percona Monitoring, Grafana, XtraBackup/mysqldump, and other tools and technologies.With the help of my team, I have successfully upgraded MySQL from 5.x to 8.x, set up MySQL InnoDB Cluster, enabled CDC with Kafka, and performed data migration, backup and restoration, query optimization, performance tuning, and disaster recovery and high-availability (HA) tasks. I have also used Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Robin, and ProxySQL to deploy and manage the database clusters and services. I am passionate about learning new skills and solving complex problems in the database domain.
