About Nikita Dinesh

I believe that no matter how much we polish the words and phrasing, the “About” section cannot truly capture the essence of a person and encapsulate their strengths. There’s nothing more beautiful than people interacting personally and getting to understand someone. The one thing I am not great at is selling myself, so here goes some facts about me that I believe can be effective and utilized well in a professional environment. One of my major memory from every Parent-Teacher meeting at school was that all my teachers used to say the same thing- “Nikita is a great student, the only problem is that she never stops talking with people no matter where I make her sit”. Took me years to realize that this, in fact, was my strong suit. I bring out meaningful conversations in people and I truly enjoy connecting. Whenever given responsibilities even as a child, I found ways to bring teams together and get work done. Growing up, I recently started having an interest in tech. Not that I have any technical knowledge, but anything tech excites me, and the prospect to learn and understand it sounds good to me. In my first job, I was keen on understanding the functioning of our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software used and it helped make my job very easy for me, and people came to me for help to make theirs easy as well. As someone who\'s looking to bloom in the professional workspace, I would love to grow myself in a career trajectory that helps utilize these skills and drive me to constantly update myself and stay on top of the current trends. This is why I love project management. I won’t say that that’s it about me, because there’s more to me than what meets the “About” section’s eye. I am open to positive growth opportunities and when given a chance, I will give my best.

   Doing Project Management at Google, I’ve led and supported initiatives that sit at the intersection of operations, strategy, and impact for GPay India, within the Trust & Safety org.I built and scaled a custom OKR tracking framework, enabling clearer goal alignment, measurable progress, and stronger accountability across the team.Independently drove key process improvements—from optimizing how we manage our extended workforce (vendor partners), to streamlining a significant part of escalation management, to enhancing the way victim interviews are tracked, ensuring more reliable data and workflows.One highlight: I designed and built a team website from scratch, transforming scattered information into a single, accessible source of truth. This was recognized for boosting information about the team and the work we do, onboarding and stakeholder visibility.This apprenticeship has deepened my ability to drive clarity in ambiguity, own cross-functional programs end-to-end, and bring scalable solutions to complex challenges.
