I am a passionate Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in designing and manufacturing. Graduating from Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, and having pursued a Diploma in Tool & Die Making, I have developed expertise in machines, automotives, robots, and all things related to the field.Currently, at Castrol, I hold the role of Plant Manufacturing Manager, where I am responsible for driving capacity addition, innovation networks, and integrating new technologies. I also focus on implementing low-cost automation solutions, maintaining hygienic manufacturing standards, and aligning with our sustainable living plan by working on the plastic reduction agenda. My hands-on experience in production and maintenance planning ensures reliable output and meets network OTIF targets.In my earlier role at Unilever, one of my key strengths lies in setting up new factories. From evaluating business cases to capacity planning, design, technical standards, procurement, execution, dry and wet runs, and ensuring compliance with engineering statutory requirements, I have successfully led smooth vertical startups. Employee engagement and training have been integral to my approach, resulting in cohesive teams and successful operations.Throughout my education and professional journey, I have gained practical knowledge in various manufacturing operations, including conventional/CNC lathe, milling (horizontal & vertical), surface/cylindrical grinding, drilling, shaping, fitting, EDM/wire EDM, spark drilling, press tools, and injection molding.Passionate about advancing the field of mechanical engineering and creating innovative solutions, I am constantly seeking opportunities to apply my skills and drive impactful change.
