As a young adult, I asked myself what fascinated my grandfather, who worked as a radio engineer, about these \"Acterna\" devices. Now that I work at VIAVI (formerly JDSU, formerly Acterna, formerly Wandel & Goltermann), I can completely understand it. At VIAVI, as global Product Manager I am responsible for the roadmap of Optical Handhelds (OLx-3x, OLx-5x, OLx-8, FFL, FI, OTS and MP-x) and business development activities within the EMEA region. I carry my grandfather\'s enthusiasm with me and am happy to pass this on to every other person.
